Welcome to the Rotary Sea Sky & Bush Walk.

The Rotary Club of Waipukurau would like to invite you to beautiful Central Hawke’s Bay. Once again, the traditional Sea, Sky & Bush Walk is taking place on March 2, 3 and 4, 2013. We would like to mention that this will be our 14th Walk we will be organising and every year we have different walks. Therefore, even those of you who have enjoyed our traditional hospitality can experience sceneries and landscapes they have not seen before.

These guided walks are held over three days and not only offer the opportunity to catch up with fellow trampers, but also gives you the challenge of three very different new terrains otherwise not readily accessible. Come along and join us on our walk over private property, which includes some of the area's gracious and historic homesteads, not usually open to the public. You will enjoy a coastal ramble, experience awe-inspiring skyline views and stroll through native virgin bush in the shadow of the magnificent Ruahine ranges.

Whether you register for all three days or only one or two, we plan to make the experience a happy and memorable one.

It is planned that our website www.seaskybush.co.nz  which will have information on accommodation and pricing, including a booking form and contact details will be ready by the end of July.  Photos will show you some of the experiences from past walks.

If you have already been to one of our walks, come and stay with us again! Bring your friends and your family, (Walkers must be 15 years of age or older), the more the merrier! We can assist in arranging interesting activities for non-walking partners too! The Rotary Club of Waipukurau and its members are determined to make this event a memorable experience for all participants.

The proceeds of this Rotary project will, as in the past, go to good causes in the local and greater community.

My fellow Rotarians and I look forward to welcoming you to this attractive part of New Zealand.
